Quality & Documentation

Quality & Documents

Clear scope, verified paperwork, no inflated claims. This page explains what we coordinate, what the mill or an accredited body issues, and what should be confirmed in the RFQ before an order is placed.

What we coordinate

  • Supplier and mill selection against the requested grade, standard and size
  • Mill test certificate (MTC) request and cross-check against the order
  • Third-party inspection arranged with the body you nominate
  • Packing, marking, container loading and shipping document follow-up

What we do not claim

  • We do not operate a steel mill.
  • We do not issue certificates ourselves. MTC, COO and COC are issued by the producing mill or an accredited body.
  • We do not publish certification marks or client names we cannot evidence.

Before inspection is booked

What we need from you

  • Final specification and standard (for example EN 10025 or the GB/JIS equivalent)
  • Quantity and acceptable tolerance
  • Destination port and agreed trade term (FOB, CFR or CIF)
  • Required document set and any certification the destination requires
  • Inspection body and inspection scope, if a third party will be involved

Inspection scope, standard and cost are agreed before order placement so there is no dispute at loading.

Sample documents

What a redacted certificate looks like

A certificate of origin is issued by an authorised body, not by us. The copy below is a real document from an Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement shipment on the India route, published with every commercial and personal identifier removed, so you can see the format before you order.

Sample export documentation, redacted: Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement Certificate of Origin
Sample export documentation, redacted. Issuing authority, route, tariff heading and the goods description remain visible. Shipper, consignee, certificate numbers, invoice details, signatures and stamps have been removed.

Documents issued for your own order are provided in full once the order is confirmed, together with the mill test certificate and the rest of the agreed document set. Photographs from the related container loading are on the India export experience page.
